The Strip Down is a musical duet based in Cottonwood, AZ. The band consists of Dayna Soria, and Art Gecko. They have each been performing since childhood, but the 2 began performing together around 2020. Their music consists of covers of music spanning the 60’s into the 2000’s, and includes popular tunes from bands such as Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Barenaked Ladies, Neil Young, Tracey Chapman, Elton John, and many more.

Their name comes from their objective; which is to take a song complicated or simple, and “strip it down” and rearrange it for guitar and vocals, without losing its integrity.
